Philip Delaney Jones II: A Creative Odyssey
Philip Delaney Jones II’s journey to Forevermore World is a testament to the power of creativity, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. With a background steeped in diverse experiences and a relentless pursuit of artistic excellence, Philip’s path has been anything but conventional.
Starting from humble beginnings in the hospitality industry, Philip’s ascent from a dishwasher to a seasoned manager provided him with invaluable insights into the intricate workings of restaurants and the art of customer service. His innate sense of design and aesthetics soon caught the attention of industry leaders in Atlanta, leading him to collaborate on prestigious projects and design ventures in Atlanta’s vibrant nightlife scene.
Fueled by a passion for interior design and a thirst for artistic expression, Philip delved into the world of Chinese gardens, bonsai, and penjing, immersing himself in the rich history and culture of these ancient arts. His expertise in landscape maintenance and design, coupled with his innovative approach to blending nature with architecture, laid the foundation for the breathtaking landscapes and enchanting gardens of Forevermore World.
Philip’s journey was further enriched by his five-year tenure in architectural photography, specializing in capturing images for designers, builders, and realtors across some of the most coveted locales in Georgia and South Carolina. His keen eye for detail and mastery of composition brought to life the grandeur of homes in Kiawah Island, Hilton Head, Charleston, and Savannah, cementing his reputation as a visual storyteller par excellence.
Venturing beyond the confines of traditional design, Philip found himself drawn to the rich cultural tapestry of Asia. Additionally, his tenure overseeing the renovation of US naval bases in Sasebo and Yokosuka, Japan, marked a pivotal chapter in his career. As lead supervisor, he spearheaded the transformation of officers’ clubs, restaurants, and hotels, infusing each space with his signature blend of elegance and functionality.
But it was Philip’s transformative experiences teaching English for the Thailand government for five years that provided him with a broader perspective on global cultures and communities. His students were chronically sick and after investigation determined the schools water system was inefficient. He quickly rallied expats to pool funds and installed a new water purification system.
Philip’s time in Japan and Thailand not only enriched his professional repertoire but also deepened his appreciation for cross-cultural exchange and the symbiotic relationship between architecture and heritage. Immersed in the traditions of Japanese and Thai craftsmanship and design, he gained invaluable insights that would shape the core designs of the Forevermore World project.
Today, as the visionary founder of Forevermore World, Philip Delaney Jones II stands at the intersection of artistry and innovation, poised to redefine the landscape of experiential entertainment. With his unwavering commitment to authenticity, creativity, and social impact, he continues to shape the cultural landscape through his creation of Forevermore World for generations to come.
